Education/Communication

  • The 3rd edition of WINRAP News was distributed in May 2009. An electronic copy can be downloaded from this website.

  • A soil and plant nutrient management workshop will be held on the 16th March 2010. Place and time to be finalised.

  • WINRAP public forum was held on the 2nd December 2009, from 6pm to 9.30pm. Approximately 60 people attended the meeting which included several speakers from Department of Water, Department of Agriculture and Food, Wilson Inlet Catchment Committee and Water Corporation to talk about the future of the Wilson Inlet including the topics of climate change and future NRM funding options.

    Feedback from several members of the public was positive with comments that they found the night informative and answered many of their questions.

  • WINRAP funding through South Coast NRM finished in October 2009.

  • Department of Water has contributed funding to be utilised in strategic areas of the Wilson Inlet Catchment.
